| Create New Map Definition

Creates a new Map definition in
the current model, a new model in the current DGN or a model in a new DGN.

| Open a Map Model
|
|
Opens an existing Map model from
the current DGN.

| Remove the Map Definition from
the current Model
|
|
Deletes the Map definition from
the active model if one exists. To delete Map Models, use the MicroStation
model dialog.

| Disable the Map Manager
Definition
|
|
Disables the Map Manager
definition so that the elements display with their own symbology. Selecting the
tool again will re-enable the Map Manager definition. This toggle affects all
views.

| Create a New Layer Group
|
|
Creates a layer group. Features
in a layer group are controlled together.
|
| Create Layers
|
|
Opens the Create Layers dialog
which is used to create layers from features in the DGN that are not listed in
the Layers tab. This can occur if a layer has been deleted from the Map
definition.

| Layers Tab
|
|
Lists all layers contained in the
Map Model in order of priority. Features at the top are drawn last. New
features are added to the top of the list but can be dragged to a new position.
